LifeWise has consistently had the best comprehensive plans available. They are the only major medical plan that is available in any county of Washington State. They have the highest lifetime benefit and the largest provider network in the state.

Though only available in select counties*, Regence is an excellent option. Their comprehensive plans are particularly appealing to young families. Regence uses a “two or more children” premium, which makes it an obvious choice for many large families.

*Available in Clallam, Columbia, Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, Island, Jefferson, King, Kitsap, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, Pierce, San Juan, Skagit, Skamania, Snohomish, Thurston, Wahkiakum, Walla Walla, Whatcom and Yakima counties.

Asuris is a Regence company and is available in the counties that Regence Blue Shield is not offered*. Asuris currently doesn’t offer the “Selections” or “Health Savings Account” plans that are available through Regence in the other counties. The Asuris Preferred Provider plans are identicle to the REgence Preferred Provider plans and have the same rates.

*Available in Adams, Asotin, Benton, Chelan, Douglas, Ferry, Franklin, Garfield, Grant, Kittitas, Lincoln, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, Spokane, Stevens and Whitman counties.
